Try the Holiday Inn next to Marylebone station. My mates stayed there not long ago and think they got a reasonable deal.

Oh to answer seriously, I got a room at the best western in covent garden and it was £90 for a double room

Try Holiday Inn Express which is about £90 p/n

or

Travelodge which is about £75 p/n

I've stayed in both, and the kings cross travelodge is pretty good (for the area) and cheap.
