he lost interest in signing some defenders
he knew all summer we needed centrebacks and took about 5 months and we ended up with christian dailly on a one month loan and alan bennett - a player on loan from Reading who considered him not good enough even for their back four!

Reading reserves back four > ours, tbf.
Can't understand how we started the season with like 1 fit first team defender. Is it Burley's fault though? Did he have plans that the board chaos pulled the plug on?
