A few more bits from .co.uk this time:

Shay Given (groin) is ruled out with Steve Harper set to continue in-between the posts and young stopper Fraser Forster on the bench.

Claudio Cacapa (knee) is the only fresh injury worry and a decision won't be taken on his fitness until Friday at the earliest.

Mark Viduka returns from a calf injury after a month on the sidelines but it remains to be seen whether or not he will start.

Also mentions:
Edwards and Cole came through an hour in the reserves and both are in contention, albeit Cole only for bench duty.
Butt suspended.
Emre re-living THAT free kick
And oirish boy talking about how important this is.

It's always plugged as a derby match, by Sky, and the MoTD team.
It may be a "meh" sort of game for non-North-Easterners but the last 2 games were actaully very good for the neutral.
Should be interesting at the weekend due to Chopra and possibly Cole returning against us, who gets played at CB for Newcastle and will Viduka come back off his winter break yet?

I remember the previous 137 so well.

Chopra a certainty to score if he plays

I know that description was a bit naff, as soon as I pressed post I realised how gash it sounded. (not for the first time )

The games never fail to excite though.
Just secured the 0-0 bore draw, then.

It'll come down to who wants it more, on Saturday. Keane will have them fired up and ready to come at us straight from the off. As for Fat Sam - f**k knows what the team or tactics will be.

As I said,

1) Emphatic Newcastle win
2) Newcastle car crash

One of those two, won't know until kick-off.

pretty sure you'll find both sets of players want the 3 points just as badly. Its **** all to do with desire and pride, it'll be decided the same way any other game is - the team who scores the most goals will win.
