waiting for MOTD to come on, even though I know they'll only pay lip service to the FA Cup 1st round games

I remember when you watched the programme on FA Cup 1st Round Saturday and got ALL the goals, and it ran until about 1.15am

Only a couple of years ago.

Used to be made worse by the fact that there was always a rememberance programme delaying the start.

iirc nowadays they only show highlights from about a third of the games

then stick the rest of the goals on BBCi if you mess about with the red button business
