My mum bought me the sticker album thinking she was funny
The g/f seemed to enjoy putting the stickers in though, kept her quiet for 20 minutes, I might buy her a box off Ebay

Brandon put the first few in a little squint, so I had to insist on helping him. He has four doubles already, although the concept of trading them seems lost on him.

Think the biggest plaudit i could give the thing is that i enjoyed it more than i expected i would.
First part of the film was rather entertaining. Second half was just completely meh.
I was so very bored by the end fight scene was just bland and repetitive.
Biggest criticism other than that was that other than Prime and Bumblebee - i just had no reason whatsoever to care about the other Autobots and no reason whatsoever to hate the Decepticons aside from the Good and Evil aspects.
| Pretty much exactly my reaction. I hought I'd be shaking like a dog shitting a bottle with fury, but quite enjoyed it, although I was bored by the end.
But yeah that Frenzy/Soundwave hybrid really got on my nerves.

Brandon left one of his electronic Transformers out in the rain last night, brought it in this morning. Now it's drying out, it's started making the noises every few seconds or so, obviously ****ed. Every minute or so I hear the transforming noise echo through the house |

Frenzy = Jar-Jar
Enjoyed it as a film. Not to bothered about the story, it's not that sort of film anyway. Shia LeBeouf continuing to impress with his acting ability.

Hated it.
Can’t say I’m really disappointed since I wasn’t expecting any less, but I thought it was a big pile of doo doo.
For starters it never really felt like a Transformers movie. It seemed like a film about some kid chasing his first love and a bunch of robots come along near the end. Looked at my watch and realised I’d been watching for an hour and nothing had really happened.
Thought the transformers themselves looked poor. The cartoon versions looked simplistic, with more body than parts, but these ones just looked like loads of ‘bits’ and a few hints at the vehicles surrounding them. I wouldn’t expect them to look like they did in the cartoons, but they looked overly complicated to me.
I also didn’t like the way they took on their earth forms. Seemed a bit of a cop out how they could just look at something and take that form. Bumblebee changing from one car to another just didn’t work for me.
The also seemed to move too quick when in robot form, especially during the battle scenes. Half the time I couldn’t see what was happening as they were jumping about the screen too quickly. Also when they were running on the highway it looked more like they were roller-skating or something.
There was far too much attempted comedy in the film. I say attempted because none of it was funny. Don’t think I laughed at a single joke in the entire film. I wanted to curl up and die when the autobots were hiding outside the kid’s house.
As for the autobots they were mainly disappointing. I’ve never been a fan of Prime but at least he was authorative. In this he seemed like a bumbling fool rather than some great leader. Saw him in a new light when he dispatched bonecrusher which was totally awesome, but then he didn’t do anything noteworthy apart from get his arse kicked from Megatron.
As for the others, apart from Bumblebee they never got much screen time. Jazz was always a favourite but by the time he died I couldn’t care less about him. Was never a fan of Bumblebee either but he was by far the most interesting robot in the film.
The decepticons had even less time. Was great when Starscream appeared, but his scenes were incredibly short and his battle with the jets extremely short lived.
Megatron himself was a huge let down. Didn’t expect him to change to a gun, but I thought he would have some resemblance to his original character. As it turned out he looked nothing at all like him.
Wasn’t overly keen on the deaths either. Think there was only Bonecrushers I liked. Not so sure on Jazz’s death as on the one hand it proves Megatron to be powerful, but on the other it seems a bit too easy for them to just be torn in two. As for the other deaths I never wanted the robots to be killed by humans, but it was always going to be on the cards.
There also seemed to be loads of ‘missing’ bits where I was wondering what was going on. The Transformers just went missing at times, especially during the final battle. When the humans were fighting the helicopter one and Prime was fighting Megatron I was wondering where Ratchett and Ironhide were and what they were doing.
Coining in the phrases didn’t work all the time either. Thought the ‘you’ve failed me Strascream’ speech seemed out of place and saying ‘more than meets the eye’ never really felt right. Having said that I loved the ‘one shall stand, one shall fall’ bit and got really excited. Just a shame the following fight was mega lame.
All in all I wasn’t impressed, but at least that’s the first one out of the way. Hopefully a sequel sans Bay where the robots are already established will be better, with more transformers and less human stories.

I also didn’t like the way they took on their earth forms. Seemed a bit of a cop out how they could just look at something and take that form. Bumblebee changing from one car to another just didn’t work for me. Thats how they did it in the cartoon, expect the transformer was not installed in every robot. It was a scanner that scanned things and then modified each robot to transform into that thing.

Was never a fan of Bumblebee either but he was by far the most interesting robot in the film. IMO there was never a need to make jozz if all he said was "Hit they call me Jazz" and then a hour later kill him off. No interactions, no further sennes from him,
Megatron himself was a huge let down. Didn’t expect him to change to a gun, but I thought he would have some resemblance to his original character. As it turned out he looked nothing at all like him. Megaron was the first robot to crash on Earth and basically buried and frozon in the Arctic so therefore could not scan anything to transform into and so stayed as his orginal form.
Wasn’t overly keen on the deaths either. Think there was only Bonecrushers I liked. Not so sure on Jazz’s death as on the one hand it proves Megatron to be powerful, but on the other it seems a bit too easy for them to just be torn in two. When the humans were fighting the helicopter one and Prime was fighting Megatron I was wondering where Ratchett and Ironhide were and what they were doing. Can't remember but I'm pretty sure Ratchett driving towards Jazz to help him cos he just got torn up my Megatron. Ironhide I think was helping the humans fight the robots.
All in all I wasn’t impressed, but at least that’s the first one out of the way. Hopefully a sequel sans Bay where the robots are already established will be better, with more transformers and less human stories. Rumours of Dinobots appearing and Starscreams jets friends will be there. Also devastator may appear. Although Bonecrusher died I think they will fix him. | One thing I hated was how they made Soundwave. Doenst resemble him what so ever. He had too many spikes sticking out of his head and body to make me see how he could transform into a smooth casstle player and the way he transformered into a mobile phone was stupid.
