Think the biggest plaudit i could give the thing is that i enjoyed it more than i expected i would.
First part of the film was rather entertaining. Second half was just completely meh.
I was so very bored by the end fight scene was just bland and repetitive.
Biggest criticism other than that was that other than Prime and Bumblebee - i just had no reason whatsoever to care about the other Autobots and no reason whatsoever to hate the Decepticons aside from the Good and Evil aspects.

Pretty much word for word whs. Only other major negative I think of was that they made them all too intricate. Looks great transforming but can barely make out the faces and body parts on most.
Quite liked the various cartoon links they stuck in there - "autobots roll out", "one shall stand.." etc.
Pleasantly surprised overall.

Thought this film was *****. The most "by the numbers" film i've ever seen. Basically "we're good guys, they're bad guys and we're gunna have a bit of a ruck", with the most boring and predictable love subplot in existance.
And +1 about the end fight scene. Utterly boring.

Well admittedly I didn't expect it to be amazing, but it was still dissapointing. Any semblance of an interesting story or creativity might have helped.
