Oh and Transformers is fantastic but Herman is wrong the film will be dire.

Don't agree about Optimus Prime, I think he looks great, but as you say Megatron is just awful

If you go in wanting G1 it's gonna suck balls.

If you go in expecting it to resemble the transformers you remember in any way, you may well be disappointed.

If you go in expecting kick arse robots that transform into planes and cars and stuff with lots of explosions, you may well love it.

I have long ago accepted it's not gonna be G1. I do however hope for some level of it resembling what i expect of Transformers.

For me, if it's gonna be all about action and style over substance with little or no plot or character development it really isn't a transformers movie other than the name of the Robots.

I was born a bit too late for the Transformers generation (more in the Power Rangers era myself) but due to having older brothers I had lots of Transformers toys and stuff, but never really watched it on telly so hopefully won't be disappointed with the film.

Yeah just looking at the pictures they don't particularly look like any of the transformers at all. Quite disappointed how monsterous some of them look like.
