How did it happen? I remember a fight with the "white Optimus" who was inside Ultra Magnus, but Ultra Magnus is present at the scene you linked to.

The White Prime wasn't inside Ultra Magnus.
The White Prime was Prime when he returned from the dead at the end of Generation 1. He was coated in a special alloy so he would not be attacked by spores.
