Thank god the negative publicity stopped them. How they thought they would get away with it without alienating a lot of people i dont know.

Quite brilliant scam on their part though. Sent out all these promotional vouchers to everyone with some small print crap that nobody reads allowing them to just charge everyone the the amount the saved from the voucher knowing they have got thousands of people making a purchase they otherwise wouldnt have made.

Haha, people defrauding a retailer and then getting outraged when they ask for their money back.

Also, reminds me of a Tesco code that was circulated on here a while back. It was £10 off an online delivery order, so people went and ordered, like, a cake, plus the delivery charge, and it would come to less than a tenner. Problem is Tesco cancelled all the discounts so people ended up paying ridiculous prices for food they didn't really want in the first place.
