ah well, comfortable win for the villa I reckon. Despite derbies in the past being either awful or awesome, and hence bloody tense, I just feel rather good about this one. Ofc if I'm wrong I shall be avoiding all villa related threads for about a week

Bruce to go with one up front at home again? He really has not learned from relegation season, has he?
Villa seem ok this season, certainly good enough to beat poor teams like us. Last two games we've conceded to a long ball over the top of the defence which has pushed tooo far up, which would be suicidal against your attack and with our slow defence.
In attack, Jerome obviously the new Morrison but with less finishing ability, while Kapo continues to infuriate to a level that even Jarosik could not reach. Forssell - will us Bluenoses never learn, he has gone. I am fed up of hearing people get overexcited that he is 'fit' when he goes 10 minutes without breaking down again.
Honestly, we're no good, and having lost to Villa last time, the spell we had over them is gone.
Predict: 0-2.

i never liked jarosik, i like kapo, he's definitely a bit special, i'd like to see him in the middle with mcsheff on the left for this game, even though he's been a steaming pile so far, i recon he's (mcsheffs) got the attitude for this game, got the feeling palacios could be a bit intimidated by it.
jerome the best of a bad bunch up front for us, especially in this game, they, like us don't have the fastest or most switched on defence, got the feeling forss and o'connor would be absolutely useless
i think 451 the way to go for us honestly, especially with the pace of their kids on the counter attack, think we need to try and bully the wingers a bit, seeing as they're both strips of ****
having said all that, they will win, mostly by the pace getting in behind the defence, could be anything from 1-0 to 3-1 i recon
