Default Decent digital TV tuner card?

My old graphics card had TV in/out but I've upgraded cards and this new one had neither, with the old one being used in the PC I'm building for Brandon. So now I need a digital TV tuner card for this machine, so I can hook up my Sky digibox, since I don't have a TV in my room. Unfortunately, I'm relatively clueless about this hardware/software bundle, so thought I'd appeal to OTF for guidance. Got a budget of around forty to fifty quid, which I'm guessing should get me a decent card? So please, advise.

A little above what I was looking to pay, but I'm guessing they are worth every penny? The software that comes with it decent? Have heard that it can be a bit rubbish, and some third party offerings are much better?

I mix hauppauge with digiguide and showshifter.

you can use the 250 if thats cheaper, used it in a few builds.

Gav, I've got my digibox showing on my analogue stick jobbie, :p

Just connect the RF OUT aerial from digibox to the card and scan for the box. It was on Ch 68 on one setting, and 108 (iirc) on the cable setting.

I'll double check the cable ch number, and post again if I'm wrong.

Gather round folks, time for Kris to make me look stupid I think.

Kris, your advice almost always spot on, so decided to dig a little deeper and just go for the card you suggested, PVR 350. However, reading on various places that it's analogue only, with the Nova-T being suggested for digital needs. Mock me with your wisdom?

If you want to run the digibox from the RF out you need an analogue card, not a digital one.

You can run the digibox thru RF Svideo or component with the 350.
