Had mine for 4 years now. Its a P4 3ghz processor with 1 gig of Ram and a 250 gig hard drive.
Have the money to buy a new one and will but i'm still undecided on whats best to get and waiting for a good deal that stands out to me where i am not paying a fortune for a graphics card that will stand the test of time.

October 2004, so just over 3 years.
In need of an upgrade or two tbh. Buying an external HD in the next week or so, as this one is full (only 80gb, so I suppose 3 years is good going)
Not sure how much longer 1gb RAM and Athlon 64 3000+ is gonna last me though. Think I can upgrade to two 1gb sticks to double my RAM but on my 754 socket motherboard I'm not sure the max upgrade (3700+ iirc) would be worth it financially or upgrade wise.

In the last 18 months or so I've upgraded everything but the case, optical drives and floppy.

In the last 2 and half years, i dont think i've gone longer than about 6 months with out upgrading something.
