I know it is very far in advance, but I have a question for those who have traveled before to see the WC. About how far in advance did you book your hotel? I had to miss the last WC due to work, and I don't plan on missing the 2010 in South Africa.

I remember booking days off last time, I asked my boss for the dates when the group draw was done in December.

Him: Which ones?
Me: 10th, 15th, 20th of June.
Him: That's a bit specific, what's happening?
Me: Err...wedding...wedding...funeral?
Him: OK, fine. Hang on, funeral?"
