But anyway, does anyone know how I can stop my internet disconnecting at the same time every single night? I'm on Orange (for some reason) and there are no usage limits etc, so why does it switch off and refuse to find the correct profile (in the Wlan thing) at precisely 12:00 every night?

Bare in mind that I know next to nothing about computers/networks etc.

Have you checked your router to see if there is any such "switch off" instruction?

Also, have you asked Orange, or looked at their site to see if they turn people on and off again at midnight?

At midnight, all webpages are renewed so Orange have to reset all routers in order to get the news webpages.

I will ask Orange, but I was just wondering if there was a quick solution that's all.

And it has only started doing it recently, it used to be fine. And, sometimes it will go off at say 12 for a few days, then for the next few days it'll go off at bang on a certain time, say 2:00.
