3. You were travelling in a deserted area, with your speed fitting your surroundings (over 30mph in a industrial estate sounds about right
I think it's fair to say you have little defence. I'd suck it up and pay the fine, being thankful that you weren't travelling at 3mph more as it would certainly have meant a court appearance. Sure, it probably feels unfair but as you were most likely speeding, a fine is in order after being caught.

Honestly speed limits can be annoying and I'm not one to get all moralistic about speeding, butin that case, 57 going round a corner, in a built up area is a bit silly.
