In a 30 zone, how can you not at least look at your speed once in 5 seconds?

Bang to rights by the sounds of things:

1. You're unsure of your actual speed whilst being caught
2. The laser gun clocked you at 57mph. Even if you wanted to dispute it, you're unsure so likely as not it's correct especially as...
3. You were travelling in a deserted area, with your speed fitting your surroundings (over 30mph in a industrial estate sounds about right

I think it's fair to say you have little defence. I'd suck it up and pay the fine, being thankful that you weren't travelling at 3mph more as it would certainly have meant a court appearance. Sure, it probably feels unfair but as you were most likely speeding, a fine is in order after being caught.

Honestly speed limits can be annoying and I'm not one to get all moralistic about speeding, butin that case, 57 going round a corner, in a built up area is a bit silly.

You should see an optometrist, 360ms is an average.

Oh and thats proper focus speed, you dont need that to spot you're doing twice a speed limit.
