Hosts trick did it for me.
Tried the Adblock thing but seemed to do feck all.

If you use Vista, you will need to open up notepad as an admin, then open the host file from within notepad, otherwise Vista will not allow you to save changes.
You should also open up the command prompt (as admin in Vista) and type nbtstat -R to force a reload of the host file. Make sure you use a capital R, it is important.

whatever that means it wasn't doing its job!

So the file is most likely in:
