| Of course. It's got his photo on, DOB, address etc, and says "REGISTERED DISABLED" at the bottom.
The other side is the same it just has a symbol of a man in a wheelchair and different information on it. </BLOCKQUOTE>
Like valid from and expiry dates etc. That's probably why the ticket was issued.
I've still got my mum's old card, but it's absolutely no good to anybody. </BLOCKQUOTE>
It may sway you to learn he's a WWII veteran.

So the two other parking wardens confirmed it was actually a parking violation. What's the problem?

Got parking tickets here before for not displaying my parking pass correctly. Thing is, they give us two, and one literally hangs down to my dashboard, so I placed it (completely visible) on the side of the windscreen. Ticket was for not displaying parking pass correctly. What could possibly be the reason for that? Anyway I've stopped buying a pass now, because it works out cheaper to get the tickets than to buy the pass anyway.
Also got a ticket once for having a wheel of my car on my own grass in my own driveway in my house. It had been snowing and didn't even know it would be on the grass. Anyway the ticketer would have had to have come into my driveway to even see it. Think it may have been a cop as well. Obviously don't have anything better to.
In summary parking wardens (and that particular cop) are absolute *****.

You hear so many stories of these people being such petty cnuts and tbh the one who did this to your Grandad is an absolute Dick.
Just like you say, wrong way round ffs, they could clearly still see it was a disabled parking ticket I presume? so what is the problem? Probably walked off grinning to himself at a pathetically earned wad of money tbh
***** all of them | I've only ever had one parking ticket in my life and that was because I parked where I shouldn't of. These people who complain about getting unfair parking tickets make me laugh. If you don't want a parking ticket don't park where you shouldn't.
Doesn't it say on the T&C's of a blue badge that it has to be displayed in a certain way?, if so then he should have to pay the fine.

Look, the old guy decided to live a life of crime and now he's paying the price. He knew perfectly well what he was getting into, it's too late to start crying now.
