One-Nil for me too. Both were produced by New Era Software (legends), Goal was only international teams whereas One-Nil was club teams (can't remember whether there were international teams in it too - I think not).

I think it was just domestic teams.
Bizarrely they sent me their horse racing game totally free a few years ago too.
Did anyone ever play Sick As A Parrot?

Goal was excellent.
I wore out three floppy discs (or was it six?).

For the 1994 World Cup, I completely edited all of the nations' squads and world rankings to bring them in line with the tournament. Not a bad way to spend a summer as a 12-year-old, better than hanging around with smelly girls anyway.

Maybe now is a good time to bring up something I mentioned in the last Goal thread. I've been trying to run them on XP for ages, using stuff like DosBox to slow the game down, but one problem still persists - the whistle sound-effect. Every time the whistle sounds, the beep lasts about 5 seconds. Even if you use the in-game Mute option, there's still a 5-second silent pause where the whistle would be. It's really annoying, it makes it basically unplayable. Any of you fans found a way around it?
