Question for the Night Thread lads!

Basically looking to open a bank account tomorrow, had one with Clydesdale, and had had it since i was
about 14. Closed it last month though.

Anyway, as I start the open uni in February, and need a to actually get my act together and get a part-time job, i was wondering how easy it is to open an account?

Is it just a matter of turn up and they'll do it for you?

Also, I'm also pretty interested in an overdraft, as that would see me through Christmas etc, incase I need extra funds.

Basically, is it pretty easy?
