Default Is there a free program that converts DVD film to video files?

As per the title really, looking for something that would do this and allow videos to be viewed in media or real player. ie on my 8gb Nokia N95

There are legal programs that do this, nothing wrong with it as long as you own the DVDs and don't share them.

As for the programs im not sure about free ones, all the decent ones require a licence payment.

super video converter might do it.


I use it to convert my digital camera videos to .3gp format to my phone. Converts practically anything to anything as well. :thup:

handbrake is good at this, though iirc you would need a program that decrypts the dvd on the fly in the background.

AoA DVD Ripper seems to be great - I have converted my dvds using this and they play great on my Sony Ericsson!

Limited to 10 minute sections unless you pay for the full version, but its fantastic quality.
