It's been snowing in Newcastle for the last 30mins or so. It's not lying as it's too wet, though. It's been a bitterly cold day, but in saying that I'm still a bit surprised.

Winter is on the way. :thdn:

We had the first heavy snow last week. On the mountains 60kms away from here there's loads already, 1m50 on the Zugspitze.

Winter is on the way :thup:

just really cold here in s.wales atm. no snow forecast I don't think, although I wouldn't be surprised if we did get some soon.

Bit early for winter, isn't it? Still, touching freezing point here, car was a bu**** to start this morning...it is definitely on its way.
