I look forward to it. I quite like Gervais' stand up, saw him live once and it was very good. Don't like Extras either. Just waiting for him to do a series where the main character gets laughs other than for the fact he's so unbelievably embarrassing that people are just glad they aren't him.
Season 2 still the best, but for the sake of plot continuity watch the first 6 episodes if you haven't already. It's season 2 where they move away from the blatant copying of the original office as well, so judge it based on that.
I just find it very hard to forgive them for the episode when all the employees had ethnicities taped onto their foreheads :/
Just seemed that it had approached the remake in completely the wrong way and was missing the point, but I understand it developed from those early ones to get better in its own right.
