Wouldn't go to a nightclub on my own, unless I was meeting people in there.
However going to for a night out in pubs, would quite happily do, even if it does become a bit boring eventually.
Not really sure how Fred_The_Red has doubts about going shopping on his own, what's wrong with that?

aye, usually get talking to a fellow united fan anyway. been to a gig on my own and football but wouldn't go for a night out on my own

I don't have doubts about shopping on my own. I do that anyways since I'm in and out of shops and would be done within 1 hour, so it's not so bad.

Club - No way, would never ever do that
Gig - Probably not
Football - Yes don't see the problem with doing that
Pub - Only to watch United if no one else would come out, also if i am waiting for someone and had 15 minutes to kill i would get a quick pint and read the paper
Shopping - Whats wrong with this?
Cinema - No way

Do not see a problem with going Shopping/Football on ones own, but the rest i would give a bit of a miss to tbh
