Well thats my dilemma. I could go out and hope that i'll meet some people there that i know.

If not i'll be hanging around like a spare part. Or could just think screw it and stay in tonight.

Watched England matches at pub a few times on my own, increasingly hard these days to persuade people to come to the pub to watch England playing. Don't think i'd do it for a night out though unless i knew some people i know would be out anyway.

There are a couple of pubs I can head to alonw knowing I'll run into someone and if all else fails I can chat with the barman

Gigs/football at a pub yeah. If your going out without knowing anyone else, well, I don't really see the point, but then I'm antisocial.

Quite the opposite actually. I just enjoy the social side of things. Just the general buzz of a night out i get bored easily being stuck indoors

No. Been to the pub alone to watch a game a few times and that's generally ok - usually get talking to someone about the game anyway... Been to a gig on my own once but it was actually quite s**t, probably wouldn't again unless I was despirate to go.

So no, I wouldn't go on a night out alone.

I've been many times alone to gigs, but I wouldn't go out for drinking alone.

And BTW-why do you want to go out on a Monday night? usually nothingh happens anyway
