I don't think the show was going to go off so quickly in November if the WGA strike wasn't upon us, might have got another few episodes out of it I think

but this way they can stockpile episodes and see what developments happen with the strike, Fox have already lost 24 indefinitely for now so they want some stuff to show when the Christmas period is over (most "regular" networked shows take a break over Christmas anyway, so it's not strange to see PB off)

Before the strike , the show was meant to be on air tiill December and then a break to April.

The new lead-in for Terminator will be Prison Break, which will now be on hiatus only from November 12 to January 14. Prison Break was originally scheduled to start its break in December and return in April, but now it appears as if both will be bumped up.

Great episode again, so explain to me why prison break is taking a break? Was it pre-planned, due to ratings or because of this strike?
