Outrageous prices imo but they wont matter i nthe slightest. Caltic and Rangers will still sell out the allocation and if Hibs don't then their allocation will probably get cut.
You can argue all you want about it being more expensive than some EPL teams but they get £40m or so a season in tv revenue. How much do we get here as I have no idea? I'd be shocked if it was anything around the £1m mark

Rangers may well actually refuse the allocation so it's not guaranteed we would sell it out.
Prices for Hearts fans may well have risen over the years but certainly not to a disgrace £33 per ticket.

It's shocking by SPL standards and I can actually see us altering the prices as not many folk could afford to take their kids at at least £66. I'm ok as I've got a season ticket as have half of my mates so things aren't so bad for me personally.
However, I wish Gingerfurball would stop coming into these threads with all his Hearts hate as it's getting tedious as feck now. So what he hates us, I've no problem with that, but coming into a thread with utter pish more often than not serves no purpose whatsoever.
What does his wee protests achieve and who'll actually stop going to a football game all because some random on the internet suggests that they do? We've got 3 hibs fans on here and a dozen or so OF fans on here, most whom don't attend games anyway, so what's the point?
Most non-OF Scottish folk on here loathe the OF, yet they don't continuously post pish in the OF club threads.
No doubt we'll have to endure yet more of his Tesco rants in the coming months as that's been his usual drivel for the past season or two.

| I'm not justifying these prices at all, but I'm sure I paid over £30 last season to watch Hearts play Rangers at Ibrox, so there's not much of a difference to what we had to pay last season for some away games. One thing is for sure, though, the prices at Ibrox wouldn't have been cheaper than £30 for us this season anyway.
With CP we paid £28 last season and when you consider the atrocious views at the away end, £28 is way too steep also.

Well, if the ticket prices don't kill you, the fact the opening derby is now on Monday night will!

| £28 for Ibrox as well last season apparantly... It won't go above £30 for this season so Hearts' prices are rather inflated for poorer facilities generally.
It will be interesting to see what would happen if Rangers did refuse their allocation. Over £200K for the (probable) 3 games there (plus catering income) wouldn't be too helpful for your accounts.

There won't be many walk in tickets for next season due to the amount of season tickets, so a team not accepting their allocation won't affect us that much as those tickets would just go on general sale anyway. I wouldn't pay £33 for an SPL game, but I'm sure there will be erses that will. It's the Derbies that would suck as a Tynecastle without any Hibbys would be a great loss indeed. That's half the fun in the first place - mocking the Hibbys. I actually think this particular fixture will be downgraded to a Cat B game anyway.

Not at all, I just can't see how Hearts can justify charging £33 for an Edinburgh derby, that's all.
