i imagine the cav will, like many, vote for the politician he identifies with the most. so the question should really be "which politician is the biggest ****"

Thankfully, your imagination, like your knowledge of politics here, is showing all the accuracy of a windowlicker's attempts at calculus.

I'm still undecided, although I've been leaning back towards Howard lately.

im a swinging voter, i dont have loyalty.

however at this stage ( and most likley ) ill be going for liberal again.

where do you start...

labor - i think labor is a mess without any real plan or strategy, no real standout potential ministers, lots of infighting.
Labour strikes me as a party that just isnt very proffesional.

kevin rudd is a nice and likeable bloke but i think he is too much of a pussy. he does not come across as leadership marterial, always playing the nice card, hug babies etc.. and most importnalty he dosent have beliefs and will stick to them. He seems to be easily swayed by party or public opinion.

i dont call that a leader, i call that a puppet.

For years labor has always attacked and attacked the liberals and their plans and reforms etc... yeh thats all good and well when u come up with a viable alternative solution. Not just a rehashed version of the liberals.\
Like i said lack of balls and lack of goals and direction.

liberal isnt perfect either, but in general i think john howard is doing a good job, has the support of ministers, seems less infigithing and it seems its a party that is working together.
John howard comes across as a leader and with beliefs that wont be swayed easily.
He is a snake at times but thats politics, in general his handling of australia has been quite good.

I might be the only one but i also think costello would make a very good prime minister, i dont know why, i just sense he will do a good job,so thats another reason for my vote going there.
Liberals come up with plans, they have motivation, im not saying its great but compared to the major opposition it makes them look great.
Labor just so negative.

Not a fan of the workplace laws... from what i heard it can be quite a negative thing to some ppl, but directly this does not affect me.

finally ecomony.. i think its doing quite well and liberals claims are iompressive, and managed to wipe alot of australis debt ( with selling some of our utilties sadly ) but also increasing the dollar, and having a prosperious ecomony.

i was too young to remeber the labor goverment and how their choices affected me as it wasnt a concern for a 10 yr old kid but when i compare stats over a range of issues labor just seems incompentant.

anyway thats my rant and ill see what plays out over the next 6 weeks.
