point is anywhere outside of the city limits is still a burb

the only difference is how heavily developed an area is and the demographics

Usually this is the sort of story that happens in Florida or Georgia, not Washington.
what?

Georgia not particularly gun crazy? </BLOCKQUOTE>

Maybe not in your leafy white-bread suburb, but definitely the remaining 99.9% of the state. </BLOCKQUOTE>what in the name of Thor's great beard are you talking about?

first, I don't live in the burbs. Kizzak lives in the burbs.

secondly, the "remaining 99.9% of the state" has less than half of its population.

kindly stfu. </BLOCKQUOTE>

It funny because it's true. </BLOCKQUOTE>

not quite true, decatur still counts as a suburb of Atlanta

I'd also put my money on higher gun crime in dekalb county than my leafy white-bread county </BLOCKQUOTE>

I bet Camden and Philly are ahead though. </BLOCKQUOTE>

point I was making is that he's not actually in Atlanta and there are a lot of gun owners in his neck of the woods as well </BLOCKQUOTE>

I just felt like mentioning my good old Philly, I lived there for 4 years and during the last 2 my landlord was also a gunshop owner and it was right below my apt

that's incorrect, though.

I live literally 30 seconds from "Atlanta." I live 10 minutes from Midtown, 10 from Buckhead. I live in Atlanta.

is the average iq less in america, or are there so many more people that there's a greater number of idiots able to perpetrate stupid acts, and thus make the headlines?

it's not the people themselves, it's the availability of such tools that allow them to do such things.

IQ tests are made so that the average is ALWAYS 100. It's a Goss (sp?) calculation, something like 50% of the population has to be between 90 and 110, then 20% between 70 and 90, another 20% between 110 and 130...

But overall I don't think Americans are any dumbers than Europeans, the fact that they are bad at geography, maths and don't follow international politics as much as we do is not a reason to call someone an idiot imho.
