i say more skill because there is more overtaking in NASCAR where in F1 its more of a pit stop race tbh

It says a lot about the prestige associated with the IRL that you mention he wont eh indy500 but forgot the fact he actually won the championship.

Champcar used to be good back int eh days of Zanardi, Montoya and Franchiti. Now Champcar is god awful and has lost its status as chief single seater american series to the IRL.

The IRL is appalling. Even worse than Nascar IMHO, and that says a lot.

As for computer games - I used to love turning the TV off and winning a fight without taking any damage on Mortal Kombat....although I cant quite remember how that was done atm (it might have been street fighter actually).

As much as I hate NASCAR and I think F1 has the potential to be a brilliant sport, DJ is correct here.

Overtaking for NASCAR is basically getting into a slipstream, going somewhere which won't hit the car ahead and driving past.

Overtaking for F1 involves finding the right moment and taking it, waiting for the right corner, and keeping constant pressure etc. How NASCAR is so big is beyond me, I can't see ANY appeal to it at all.
