My only decent pair broke last night

Anyway, oddly enough about an hour before on the Tube I'd seen a rather natty pair that looked quite good. Nike sneaker/tennis type things. Navy blue for the most part, with a mauve (sp?) swoosh or whatever they call it on the side.

yeah it's vague, but the Nike store doesn't have them. Help me, I am incapable. And I cba to go shoe shopping.

surely £10 on a pair of trainers now is only going to result in another £10 on another pair of trainers in a couple of months time when this lot have fallen apart?

In other news i need a new pair of gym trainers, gonna try & blag a pair off my parents for christmas :cool:

No way, this last pair of trainers I bought for £15 off ebay and they have lasted three years. All this "you get what you pay for" is nonsense tbh. Just used by losers with more money than sense :cool:

I always buy lonsdale trainers. Generally last me about two to three years and are around that price herms.

I know they aren't Nike, but maybe you can find a pair there you like,.

Last pair of trainers I bought off Ebay turned out to be womens and it took 3 weeks of me wearing them before someone told me

My trainers were fooked, so when I was over in N. Ireland last weekend I managed to pick up a pair of Kappa trainers for £16 and there were a pair of Le Coq Sportif ones for £20 so I bought those ones as well to save for later.

The JJB over there has a huge sale rack where the old trainers and stuff go at quite cheap prices. Last three times I've been in they've had nothing I like in my size so I stocked up.

Pity they don't seem to have the same in London and you have to pay full price

I like the trainers Herman is talking about. JD wears a similar pair in Scrubs. Are they Nike Cortezs?

Had a pair of those, very nice till they got caked in mud playing football and were ruined
