Bah Pickles - shoddy drink driving :thdn:
How many pints/units are you allowed before driving? Not that I do drink when i'm driving, but the odd pint's been known.
How many can I have?

I went through a road block in SA when I was steaming drunk to the extent I couldn't negotiate roundabouts without plowing over them and the police let me through because they were looking for terrorists and I obviously didn't look like a terrorist.

| There isn't a "number of pints" limit - it's 80mg per 100ml of breath. There are so many things that can affect it, you can't drink two pints and be sure you're ok.

| It varies from person to person. Bigger people might get away with more and i know for example exercising beforehand can cause alcohol to affect you more. I always go by one pint or bottle, although i generally only do that when i know im then going to drink soft drinks for at least another hour before driving again.

I used to have one pint at the start of the evening if I was driving - but now I've decided it's not worth it and just don't drink any alcohol at all.
Drink as much as I like, or not at all... makes life easier.

ffs it's 80mg of alchol per 100ml of breath. That's it - that is the law - there's no f****** pint/unit limit.
