Been told that its absolutely worth a visit. The Mezquita and the other Moorish stuff.
Ah, so there is some culture in there then?
Yep, Cordoba is good for maybe 3 days. Lots to see and most of it all in an easy walk from the centre. Visit the Medina Zahara too, about 10km outside the city. The Mezquita is quite dull tbh, but the palace and the museum of archeology are great.
Granada, Malaga and Seville are all cheap coach journeys from Cordoba too.

not worth travelling around in europe, why not go somewhere in south east asia or south america, lovely weather there and is summer time.
europe in winter is rubbish, its not as attractive as films make it out to be.
Depends what you're doing. If it's a tour of the countryside yeah the weather is a ****er, but if it's the cities you want to see it doesn't make much difference.
Majorca and Ibiza were never the plan. Just what my friends said. I hate clubbing anyway.
Culture will be the main things i do, and football if I can procure the tickets. Never been to Lourve, Musee de Orsay the same friend said its brilliant without the massive throngs of tourists. Never been to Germany, Netherlands, Italy etc.
This is all just dreaming and thinking ahead, it may all come to nothing due to a number of circumstances.
If you do culture in Andalucia, a good route is fly in to Malaga (it's cheaper), day or two there then coach to Granada. Then to Cordoba, then to Seville. From there south to Cadiz, then Tarifa then Gibraltar, then back to Malaga to bugger off again.
To go outside Andalucia, from Seville go north and chack out Merida. It's mind blowing.
come to bruges, we send australians to the hospital every two weeks. they talk, we serve them beer - we head home, they usually end up passed out on the market square or in the emergency room.

Oh and if you're in Seville be sure to visit Italica, a village about 10km outside the city.
Moonie I'm not surprised at all, seems to be the young Australian thing to do, go overseas and act like a complete drunken idiot which they can do at home, then act like a complete ****** with the whole I'm proud to be an Aussie overseas and all that crap. Thats the type of backpacker I'm trying to avoid replicating. JAFAs all of them (Just another f'ken Aussie)
