I'm talking about Hopkins comments last night.

"American Bernard Hopkins insisted he "would never lose to a white person" when he came face-to-face with Joe Calzaghe in Las Vegas on Friday."

"I would never let a white boy beat me," Hopkins said five times.

"You can print that. I would never lose to a white person. He said on record that he's going to take the fight and that's all you need to hear."

Now if Calzaghe had said he'd never let a black man beat him, all hell would of broken lose.

Its like the media are afraid of calling a black man racist.

I think racist remarks need to be taken in context. Here the context is they're about to beat seven shades of **** out of each other, so I doubt a bit of verbal is going to bother either party unduly.

I agree that anyone offended by it is a tit. However, it can't be one rule for one race and another for another race. If whites are going to be done for for racism towards blacks, then it should work the other way too.
