Yes we have to put this all in context of race relations of the past few centuries, but personally I've been brought up to respect all races and religions, and to hold each in equal regard. Sure I might be a little prejudiced, but I'd never display that explicitly, so I don't see the problem of feeling a little dismayed when the glove is on the other hand. Surely this sort of mindset shows that as a society we are moving on from atrocities past, which can only be a good thing? We can't wallow in "as a white man who was subjugated by blacks for centuries i am outraged" musings forever.
