Can somebody tell me how to interpret the information the scout gives on the next opposition. Like I dont know how to set my tactics according to the things he tells me because i dont know the terms and concepts. For example I dont know when I should play wide or narrow or when i should make my passing direct or mixed. I'm currently playing as Galatasaray in a 4-4-2 diamond formation and i didnt make any transfers except new goalies

get it down and play it seems to mean direct play that is fast tempo.

they like to draw the opposition onto them before counterrattacking seems to mean a slower tempo, with more mixed to short passing

key players named if they are in the middle of the field need some closing down (but that can be tough in 08 so try man marking with a defensive minded player

pitch size can work to your advantage or against you. If the key player is a winger, you may need closing down on rare if you are not going to man mark. you may also want to keep the field more narrow in your width.
