If you were to say that Man Utd would be 19th at any point this season, anyone with any common sense would have laughed at you, yet there was a point earlier on this season where that did happen, where the only team below them was Derby County.
Similarly, someone's already mentioned Greece winning Euro 2004, going past France, Czech Republic and Portugal in the process. How many people would have foreseen that?

I'm sure Man United were 19th about 3 games in "IRL".

That is correct and if this happened in the game i bet some people would of posted it as being unrealistic.

Football is a funny old game, and in real life we always see things that we think will never happen but they do so why cant it happen in FM 08..

I love it when things like this happen.

Yeah, a club would never go from being non-league to winning the FA cup in just ten years IRL, that's so unrealistic.

Oh, erm...

I appreciate there might be quite specific reasons for results like these posted, but I think this is an issue which could need looking at.
Me and my friends think these kind of stats are occuring quite frequently in a single season.
To get stats like this 5 times in a season (3 of my friends have also had very similar results many many times in their first season) is definately not common in the real world, but ofcourse, entirely possible.
I think it might need looking at, because such stats definately occur more often in FM08 than in other incarnations. And to me, and a few others, it might be a tad unrealistic.
Definately worth another look I feel.

APOLOGIES, ive written this in the wrong thread. These are not the screenshots I intended to refer to. SORRY.
I meant to refer to instances where a team has had 35 shots on goal, 30 on target against a team who had 4 shots on goal, 3 on target and wins 3 nil.
Ofcourse this is possible, and there is definately another thread that discusses this ( with examples from various years) but over five times in a single season becomes a little unrealistic perhaps. I think.

Wow Derby top of the table after THREE WHOLE MATCHES! Sort it out SI!

Seriously, Charlton won their first 7 matches two seasons ago in the EPL, were top of the table, finally lost to Chelsea on Matchday 8, and went on a downward spiral ever since to ultimate relegation last season.

As for the sendings off, maybe the players are angry to have such a noob at manager that they are taking it out on their opponents
