30 million invested properly can improve your setup much more than carrick, who in my opinion wasn't worth the 17 or so million united shelled out for him.

If you've still got Hargreaves (presuming you're at Man Utd), then sell.

I got offered £32m for him by Milan and accepted it. However, i did have really good back up in Gibson, Banega, Veloso, Lulinha etc.... Makes financial sense to be honest and you'll be in the board's goodbooks

If you sell Carrick your going down that slippery slope where before you know it you'll end up with a team of foreigners, like Arsenal. That is the character of their team, but Utd should always be based around British and Irish players.

Carrick is one of the few quality English players in the game, that's worth more than anyone can afford far as i'm concerned.
