Bought David Villa for £23.5M at second season when he was unhappy, score 50 in 44 matches. Van der Vaart for £15M first season, play 35 matches, score 15 goals, assist 22. Messi for £41M (release clause) at third season (current playing 1st match third season). Considering to buy Silva (valen) at release clause £39M, because have Vaart, Sneilder, Riquelme, Messi, Robben, Robbinho.

on fm 07 8 seasons i had 1 BILLION transfer kitty and bought wayne rooney for 96m. and he was my 3rd choice striker.

On CM00/01 I was once offered 97m for Ronaldinho by Inter Milan, I was Man Utd at the time. Rejected it though as he was fb, and this was before he was the player he is in real life.

Think I bought Jenas on FM05 for 50m aswell

Thanks for asking Rab1879. I scrimped and saved for 3 seasons, cutting my wages and releasing my reserve players. I didn't spend much on players for long, had a few cheap good signings who worked wonders, i.e. Mark Kerr from Falkirk for 400k, Mark Smith from Bristol Rovers 245k, and managed to finish in the top 8 for 1st three seasons. Got into Euro Cup and managed to scrape past into knockout stage in season 2. 3 seasons in CM 01/02.



40 million pounds all I had and I'd wasted it on a whining sob.
