Hi just tried pen tool for cutting out , its bit slow but better than the extract tool , extract tool always eats the picture from inside wheater smoot option set to 0 or 100 + history brush isn't easy to do on that hollow picture. what u say ? adobe has to make it better in future or totally remove the extract tool.

There's nothing substanially wrong with the extraction tool, you're just using the wrong tools for the wrong jobs in my view.

Hey Evil Nemesis. Can you post the image or a scaled version of the image you are working on? Each image has many possible approaches, we could possibly suggest some technique you haven't thought to try.

Here's an example Birdy using Knockout2. Forget the extract tool for most images. It will do okay on simple subjects with a plain background but that it. If you do (or are going to be doing) a lot of knockout work then this software rocks. [righton]

Thanks, Welles. Yeah, I will have to admit, I love this plug-in. Kinda hard not to love something that makes your life so much easier on difficult items like glass, hair etc.

hmm I can buy that easily , well can u tell me how exactly it works so good ? As photoshop uses color technique to seperate things from their backgrounds.
