Ha ha at least with Pro Evo you're totally in control whether you play good or bad. I admit though the Xbox version is really sluggish and frustrating, ps2 versions much smoother. On the plus side at least SI do more work in a year than Konami do! How much has pro Evo changed down the years and they still charge £30!
Back to my earlier rant, I then played on and won the next game 8-0 against Southampton. That game was at home.
It seems very hard to play well away from home. As Man U, playing Chelsea Arsenal or Liverpool away are extrememly difficult games to get a good performance out of your players. Even to lower down teams its difficult. But some would argue this is realistic, I just think it needs fixing as it doesnt seem to matter what tactics you play. In the Bolton game I played a Direct style, 4-1-2-1-2, Closing down often, with Rio marking Vaz Te and Vidic on Anelka. (Anelka scored the 5th goal).
Oh yeah I signed Gareth Bale, as my scouts said he was a quality player, and I wanted someone who could cover for Evra and Giggs, and as soon as I signed him the board said they thought Bale was a terrible signing, and my fans hate him! This is despite him getting MOM on his debut and getting 7s and 8s. 3 months down the line the fans and board still think it was a bad signing and he's 19yrs old and never got under a 7. In real life the fans didn't even turn on Djemba Djemba so why they're turning on a quality youngster like Bale I'll never know!
I just want the game to be more realistic.

think this is the hardest run of games ive ever had but i hammered chelsea 5-0 so i was made up thinking my tactics were great but then lost to marseille 1-2 before being beat by chelsea 3-0 with the same tactics it doesnt make sense.
Football doesnt make sense sometimes either.
Whilst I have some sympathy with the swings in fortune comments like this do really seem to be saying teams that win one game 3-0 should therefore win the next game easily.
Football isnt generally like that and a tactic that works against one opposition might not work against the next so well.
