How does a player make the jump from having a reputation thats continental to one thats worldwide?

I've won the Premiership, F.A Cup, and even the Champions League, but my first team squad are still all described as having a Continental Reputation, what criteria does the player have to meet before he is described as having a worldwide reputation?

I could be completely wrong, but might the player have to of played like around the world in several different continents?

Maybe the international stage? A good performance in a world cup would surely do it.

I think the reputation of the club also has a bearing on this - Barca have so many Worldwide reputation players
