Petr Cech

During the January transfer window of my second season at Chelsea, it was rumoured that a number of clubs were interesting in signing Petr Cech. He was valued at 18.75m and obviously he's a top class GK so I natuarlly rejected any enquiries. That was until Seville decided to offer me £40m for him!! Needless to say he no longer plays for me.

PS: I signed Akinfeev and went on to win League, League Cup, FA Cup and Champions League

So what's the point? You sold Cech for an unrealistic fee - report it in bugs.

Buffon, Casillas and Cech are the best keepers in the game at the start.Replacements can only become as good in 3-4 years, so I wouldn't sell any of them until then.

only time will tell if i made a mistake in selling him...i've not started my third season so if i've made a mistake i'm sure all will become clear once I start the season.

not even Akinfeev is as good as Cech IMO

but 40M is probably worth it and I bet Avram Grant will accept it in real life

thats what my logic was to selling him....I know he's bloody good and kept me in a lot of games I probably should have lost but 40m was too much to turn down for him

I played as Chelsea and he finished the second season with a 7.67 rating or somesuch. he would routinely pull off 3-4 consecutive saves in a matter of seconds. Once there was a shot heading towards his right top corner and he was almost next to his left post due to a previous save. Guess what? He beamed over to the upper right corner and swatted it away. Lol, if that happened in real life he would become the subject of many a scientific experiment,hehe.

Really now, if there's anything in this game like a superkeeper, Cech,Buffon and Casillas are it.

Imagine having an FM defense of Cole,Terry,Carvalho and,say, Zaccardo , Essien playing in front of them and if the other team actually managed to get past all of them somehow they have a high-flying ninja for a keeper to beat as well. Lol, this game isn't fair when you're playing gainst Chelseam I'll tell you that!
