Picking up the reigns of the England National team after McClarens rubbish performance in Euro 2012, I qualified with ease for the World Cup. Expecting a tough World Cup I was quite shocked to find that the hardest team I played against was NIGERIA
I won the world cup with England in 2010, beat Portugal 5-0, also went to beat Italy and Spain 2-1 (matches I completely dominated) and then thrashed Germany in the final 3-1
That's the only way England are ever going to win a world cup, soon as we play someone decent (or Sweden) we always lose. I guess Africa is going to be the new football powerhouse then?
You call it easy, but to be fair the only team you beat comfortably was the Ivory Coast, every other game being 1-0 or 2-1. With teams that you call 'easy', I was expecting several wins by at least a 3 goal margin.
