The most well known teams I've seen dissapear off the face of the footballing planet are Grimsby and Tranmere.

I'd imagine a fair few people can do better than that...

Not the conference, but Liverpool got relegated all the way down to League 2.! :eek:

well manchester united struggled on 07 had a bad season i was 17th save from relegation

league looked like this

Manchester United
West Ham
Watford
Sheff United

last game sunderland ( me ) v man united now man united had to lose

west ham vs sheffield united

ended up sunderland 1 manchester united 0
west ham 1 sheffield united 1 nade scored for united in the 94th minute and saved manchester united from ebarrasment yet fergie kept his job and got replaced by lippi or something the next season

Apparently this is hard coded into the game, seeing that SI are mostly Everton supporters.
