I just temporarily returned my CD to its box and returned to FM07 until I have the patience (and/or new patch) to return to managing the most inconsistent team I have ever managed, but I guess if snapping your CD works for you then do that instead.

I brought the game from Virgin for £25... it was in Game for the same price too, so not really Dodgy.com is it??? Whether you have a job or not paying £34.99 for a game that's in the shops for £10 cheaper is stupid.

i've bust a couple of cm/fm games in the past also sorted out a copy of civ3 once aswell,its a real pig when i have to go out and buy them again,anger management might help i guess.

I know how you feel and its starting to annoy me now (FM08) you play well, have good chances and :

A) Dont Score
B) Score but its offside/Foul so no goal
C) CPU scores willynilly

Game piracy is alive and kicking!

Mainly down to games like FM08. Im not knocking the guys who create the FM games, i know they're massive but surely the FM08 bugs should've been found in testing and before general release!! Who wants to pay £35 for a game which is buggy?

IMO FM08 has been rushed out for the Christmas period to maximise sales to its massive fanbase, now we're all left waiting for a patch to fix things. Im not playing FM08 until the non beta patch is released!
