The beta patch fixes this very issue.

If you'd downloaded that, then you would have got a new contract.

Same happened to me 1st season began at burscough in the blue square north. My board expectation for that season was to attempt to avoid relegation, and over two years to establish the club in a safe mid table position in the blue square north.

I got promoted in my first season top of the league then in the second season my expectation for the season was to attempt to avoid relegation again. with the two year thing still the same.

At the end of the season no new contract so I moved to sunny spain.

at united i won the league and league cup in first season, came second, won the league cup again, semi of fa cup and quarters of champions league in second season. my contract was not renewed, think it must have been the bug cos fergie would never be treated so badly!!!

I know the feeling, something is not right re the board.

I'm West Ham, after 29 games I'm 3rd in the Premier League and am in the Quarter Finals of the FA Cup. Ok I got hammered by Chelsea in the 2nd Round of the League Cup but my Board are

"Satisfied"!!!

My performance in the Transfer Market they are "satisfied". Considering they only give me 6 Million I'm not surprised!!

What do you need to do??

I really hope they sort this out in the patch because I reckon I'm gonna get sacked unless I win the Cup and Premiership!!

Not saying it is the reason but I would say that is the route cause of you not getting your contract renewed.

By you exceeding both expectations and giving a lower than actual target to the board they might have deemed you not ambitious enough despite your results

I must just not rate ability highly enough as a manager, to do so well and totally prove the media wrong. :cool:

In my game fergie didn't have his contract renewed after only one season, that season he didn't win anything, in the league he got 3rd with Arsenal coming in top. He got eliminated in the CL in the semis in an all english affair, didn't go far in the other cups too, and because of this he didn't have a new contract.
