you start researching gillette soccer saturday for any players who bag a goal or two then shoot up the stairs and sign them up straight away.

When you close your eyes to go to sleep and all you see are a bunch or circles running around while screaming out in your head "Cross the ball! Cross the damn ball!"

When you look up on the BBC website for any transfers that have gone through while you were at work (no matter if they were only a one month loan to AFC Wimbledon from Nantwich Town), you have to make sure that your database is as upto date as much as possible (guilty as charged m'lod)

Alos when you pick the course that you do at Uni for three years because you think FM will help you get better marks (once again guilty as charged

-you create your favorite FREDs in pro evo 4, 5, 6 & 2008.

-you create yourself in FM 07, including your cruciate ligament injury (PPM: likes to BEAT man repeatedly )

-you still have a 30 season long CM 00-01 game going so that whenever you want to rediscover that dominant winning sensation, you can

-the disc is NEVER out of the tray, and you can't even remember what the box looks like.

-you are outraged when you don't win your 38th consecutive home game in two league seasons.

-when you buy the same players in every version, in every new game

-you change the in game currency to match the nation you're playing in

-you've collected all available player pictures, logos and backgrounds and are always on the lookout for more

-you have this many examples while empathising with nearly every other example in this thread.

i win.

- you see a player on tv who doesn't look anything like himself because you've bought him in FM and already formed your own mental image of what he looks like.

you're going to bed at 3am on a regular basis, only to resume at 10am the next morning, a real low point in my life
