I have a question. I want to know some tips for the transfer period ... because I always try to sell my players (all kind of players: valuables, young, happy, unsettled) ... and I can't ... no one makes me offer for the players ... I use the Offer to Clubs option too ... I transfer-list them ... but :-?? no one offer me 10 euro for the players ... who can help me ? am I wrong somewhere?

I usually drop their price periodically (e.g. every week) and offer them to clubs. Unless you are at the very bottom of the leagues then you'll get a bid of some description. Make sure you say that they are no longer wanted too, and if they refuse a contract offer from another club then fine them!

Does FM08 let you fine a player for that sort of reason? I ask this as I've never tried to force a player out, and you can't fine for no reason anymore.

It's not a new problem, you will find heaps of postings about this issue.

Although some claim there is no issue.

As someone has said, put the price to £0, then put it back up again when offering to the clubs. But it always depends on how good the player is your selling on how much you'l get for him.

Try offering out at £0 initial fee but then your asking price in monthly installments. I've found you tend to get a better response. I'm Birmingham and managed to get £2m for Matthew Sadler and £1.7m for Nafti both from LL clubs at the beginning of the first season. Still can't give M.Forssell or D.Johnson away though !!!
