What team do you play? Everyone wants to play beautiful football, but my Norwegian second division side aren't capable of it.

Also, if you have a tactic you think is great maybe you should post it in the T&T forum? Needs to contain more info than your OP though.

its a training tactic i applied at derby my players passed for twenty maybe thirty short passes and the other teams couldnt get near us..i just put it down to the intensive training on attacking..

just wanted to see if it had worked for anyone else....i played a 4-4-2 by the way

Strikers and Wingers set to Forward runs often - Mentality attacking.

Midfielders set to Closing Down often, Tackling hard.

Defenders set to Passing long.

Team Instructions Mentality defensive, Defensive Line deep, Counter-attack tick.

My FM07 Derby team are all set to team passing which is always set to Short and we always use a playmaker and never a targetman, but I can't be bothered altering my training schedules to improve that tactic. They've been playing it for ~8 seasons now so they know it pretty well!

Try this for fun. Pick a world class side (about 9-10 of them in the game), and use the shortest passing along with the quickest tempo, while putting your width at the narrowest setting. Play a variation of 4-5-1, let the players gel together for about a month and watch the fireworks.
