I am managing Tramere i am about to start my second season in the championship, i have no money so sold a few players to generate cash, I sold about 500,000 worth of unwanted players, expecting most of this to spend on a player or 2, but when i checked my financial status it said that the chairman will only give me 5% of any transfer sales! I have over 750,000 in the bank but the board have only given me about 50,000 to spend! has anyone else had this?

This will happen sometines. Is you wages you are paying above the wage budget limit?
I'd always check the % you are allowed to spend from player sales before actually selling them
I guess what your chairman is saying is that though there is money in the bank, its likely to get used up throughout the year, perhaps in this case because your player / staff wages are over the budget
cheers, think this is the problem as i have just brought in a load of free transfers all on good wages! will have to try and balance things a bit more!
